To enact section 3317.251 of the Revised Code regarding disadvantaged pupil impact aid for scholarship students attending chartered nonpublic schools and to make an appropriation.
To amend sections 3313.60, 3314.03, 3326.11, and 3328.24 and to enact sections 3301.0717 and 3313.6031 of the Revised Code regarding success sequence and character education curriculum.
To enact sections 3319.66, 3319.70, 3345.84, and 6301.113 of the Revised Code to enact the Future Educators Support Act regarding financial support for student teachers and teaching as an in-demand job.
To amend section 319.301 of the Revised Code to include emergency levies, substitute levies, all inside millage, and school district income taxes in the calculation of a school district's effective millage floor.
To amend sections 1715.51, 3315.10, and 3315.41 and to enact sections 3314.55, 3315.43, and 3326.53 of the Revised Code to permit community foundations to create component funds of any charitable funds received by public schools and to classify some funds held by a community foundation as institutional funds.
To amend sections 3314.03, 3326.11, and 3328.24 and to enact section 3313.475 of the Revised Code to prohibit diversity, equity, and inclusion in public schools.
To enact Alyssa's Law to establish a pilot grant program for public and chartered nonpublic schools to purchase panic alert systems or contract for artificial intelligence firearm detection software and to make an appropriation.
To amend sections 3314.03, 3326.11, 3328.24, and 4112.01 and to enact section 3313.6612 of the Revised Code to enact the Creating a Respectful and Open World for Natural Hair (CROWN) Act to prohibit discrimination against an individual based on hair texture and protective hair styles.
To amend sections 3313.60 and 3313.6024 and to enact sections 3301.0722, 3301.165, 3313.6031, 3314.0311, 3326.092, and 3328.60 of the Revised Code regarding instruction for public and chartered nonpublic school students in the harmful effects of substance use.
To amend sections 3317.14, 4117.10, 5126.24, and 5705.412; to enact new section 3317.13; and to repeal section 3317.13 of the Revised Code to require that all school district and educational service center teachers be paid a salary of at least $50,000.
