This resolution reaffirms the interest of the United States in mutually beneficial relations with Mexico based on shared interests on security, economic prosperity, and democratic values. The resolution reaffirms support for stronger economic relations with Mexico, including to strengthen the resiliency of critical supply chains in North America and the Western Hemisphere in general. The resolution expresses deep concerns about the worsening investment climate in Mexico, and calls on the President to take meaningful actions to defend U.S. economic interests in Mexico and uphold the integrity of the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). The resolution also urges the President to address the humanitarian and security crisis at the border with Mexico. Finally, the resolution urges the Mexican government to reduce the threat of deadly synthetic opioids.

This resolution congratulates the pro-life movement on the Supreme Court's ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization (that there is no constitutional right to abortion), recognizes the role of states as laboratories of democracy, and expresses a commitment to ensuring the safety of pro-life supporters, government officials, and court personnel in the wake of the Court's ruling.

This resolution commends the people of Moldova for their hospitality and extraordinary efforts hosting more than 100,000 refugees fleeing Ukraine. The resolution also calls on the U.S. government to continue to provide meaningful and targeted financial and technical support to Moldova. Finally, the resolution calls on international partners to join the United States in providing swift and immediate humanitarian aid to Ukrainians in Moldova.

Prohibiting Abortion on Federal Lands Act This bill prohibits the federal government from promoting, supporting, or contracting with abortion entities, or otherwise expanding access to abortions on federal lands or in federal facilities, including military installations, national parks, court houses, and other federal buildings.

Solving the Border Crisis Act This bill addresses immigration and border security issues. For example, the bill (1) requires the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to resume all activities related to the construction of a border wall system along the U.S.-Mexico border that were planned or underway prior to January 20, 2021; (2) imposes limits on ending the policy commonly known as Title 42, a policy that authorizes DHS to suspend the entry of certain non-U.S. nationals or imports on public health grounds; and (3) requires DHS to ensure certain staffing levels for various agencies involved with immigration enforcement.

Chase COVID Unemployment Fraud Act of 2022 This bill addresses fraud and overpayments of pandemic unemployment assistance, including by allowing states to retain a specified percentage of recovered funds and prohibiting the Department of Labor from allowing blanket waivers of overpayments.

This resolution celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Economic Recovery Program (commonly known as the Marshall Plan). The resolution also recognizes the role of the Marshall Plan in founding a transatlantic community committed to the preservation of peace, prosperity, and democracy. Finally, the resolution reaffirms that cooperation with allies and partners in the transatlantic community to protect shared values and principles is in the national interest of the United States.

This bill prohibits federal funds from being used to require a member of the National Guard to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. In addition, the Department of Defense is prohibited from taking any adverse action (e.g., punishment) against a member of the National Guard because the member refuses to receive such a vaccination.

This joint resolution nullifies a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives rule published on April 26, 2022, concerning regulatory definitions and identification of firearms.

Preventing Terrorist Transfers to Afghanistan Act This bill prohibits Department of Defense funds from being used to transfer, release, or assist in the transfer or release of any individual detained in the custody or control of the Department of Defense at United States Naval Station, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, to the custody or control of Afghanistan.
