Child Care and Development Block Grant Reauthorization Act of 2022 This bill reauthorizes through FY2026 and expands programs and services under the Child Care and Development Fund. The bill expands eligibility to include families earning not more than 150% of the state medium income if the state provides an appropriate opportunity for families earning not more than 85% of the state median income to receive services. Additionally, the bill provides grants for states to expand the supply and capacity of child care providers.

Assessing Children's Academic Development and the Emotional and Mental Health Implications of COVID-19 Act or the ACADEMIC Act This bill directs the Department of Education (ED) to include an additional longitudinal component in an existing prekindergarten through 12th grade longitudinal educational study. Specifically, ED must include in the study the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on student outcomes and well-being.

Crippling Unhinged Russian Belligerence and Chinese Involvement in Putin's Schemes Act of 2022 or the CURB CIPS Act of 2022 This bill imposes sanctions on any Chinese financial institution that uses China's Cross-Border Interbank Payment System or Russia's System for Transfer of Financial Messages to conduct transactions with any Russian financial institution or financial institution affiliated with an entity holding itself out to be the government of (1) the Republic of South Ossetia- the State of Alania, (2) the Donetsk People's Republic, (3) the Luhansk People's Republic, (4) the Republic of Abkhazia, or (5) the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic. For the purposes of this bill, a Chinese or Russian financial institution is one organized under the laws of, located in, or owned or controlled by China or Russia. Similarly, a financial institution is affiliated with one of the named entities if it is organized under the laws of, located in territory controlled by, or owned or controlled by such an entity.

"Six Triple Eight" Congressional Gold Medal Act of 2021 This bill provides for the award of a Congressional Gold Medal to the women of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion (commonly known as the Six Triple Eight) in recognition of their pioneering military service, devotion to duty, and contributions to increase the morale of personnel stationed in the European theater of operations during World War II.

This resolution designates March 10, 2022, as National Slam the Scam Day to raise awareness about scams involving individuals impersonating government employees, encourage policies to prevent such scams, recognize those who work to prevent such scams, and encourage the public to report and share information about such scams.

Centers for Public Health Preparedness and Response Reauthorization Act This bill revises eligibility criteria and other aspects of a program administered by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention that supports a network of centers for public health preparedness. Specifically, the bill makes nonprofits and institutions of higher education other than schools of public health eligible to participate in the program, whereas current participation is generally limited to accredited schools of public health. Further, the bill shifts the program's focus from curricula development and training public health practitioners to other areas, such as (1) researching and disseminating evidence-based practices to inform preparedness and response activities, and (2) providing technical assistance and expertise to health departments during public health emergencies. The bill also repeals a demonstration program for improving the detection of pathogens likely to be used in bioterrorism attacks.

Hospital Inpatient Services Modernization Act This bill extends the Acute Hospital Care at Home Program under Medicare until two years after the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency (the program allows hospitals to treat certain patients from emergency departments or inpatient hospital beds at home during the emergency period). It also requires an evaluation of this program and the Hospital Without Walls program (the program allowed hospitals to transfer patients to outside facilities, such as hotels, to continue treatment during the emergency period).

Technology-Enabled Care in the Home (TECH) Act This bill provides for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation to test a model for furnishing at-home telehealth, remote patient monitoring, and other technology-enabled care interventions for chronically ill individuals who are enrolled in certain Medicare Advantage plans. The model must test the effect of such technology on Medicare Advantage spending and the overall quality of care for beneficiaries. The bill also repeals provisions that prohibit the correction of earnings records for purposes of Social Security benefits after certain time limitations expire and determinations become final.

Training America's Workforce Act This bill requires the Department of Labor to establish a process to identify industry-recognized apprenticeship programs for purposes of the National Apprenticeship Act.

Ban Russian Energy Imports Act This bill declares that a national emergency exists with respect to the aggression of Russia against Ukraine. During this emergency, the President must prohibit the importation of crude oil, petroleum, petroleum products, liquefied natural gas, and coal in which Russia or a Russian national has any interest. The bill exempts products that are already loaded or in transit at the time of this bill's enactment.
