A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 47-2-357 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to withdrawal, employer contributions, vesting, and date of election, so as to increase the maximum employer contribution to a 401(k) for certain state law enforcement officers; to provide for definitions; to provide for an effective date; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 12 of Title 16 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding offenses against public health and morals, so as to provide for the establishment of an animal cruelty database; to provide for purpose and funding; to require the Prosecuting Attorneys' Council of the State of Georgia to create, administer, and maintain such database; to provide for minimum requirements; to provide for reporting and forms; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 10A of Title 43 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to examination regarding professional counselors, social workers, and marriage and family therapists, so as to authorize applicants for a license in social work enrolled in a master's degree program to take the master's social work licensing examination in their final semester of the program; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 7 of Title 12 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to control of soil erosion and sedimentation, so as to revise provisions regarding denial or nonacceptance of permits; to amend Chapter 60 of Title 36 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to provisions applicable to counties and municipal corporations, so as to provide general provisions for counties and municipalities regarding the acceptance, denial, or nonacceptance of certain permits; to require local issuing authorities to provide rejected permit applicants with a written list of reasons for denial within specified time frames; to provide definitions; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 43 of the O.C.G.A., relating to professions and businesses, so as to repeal Chapter 14, relating to electrical contractors, plumbers, conditioned air contractors, low voltage contractors, and utility contractors, and enact a new Chapter 14; to amend Code Section 48-7-38 of the O.C.G.A., relating to deduction for payments to classified subcontractors, disclosure of tax returns, and maintenance of list of classified subcontractors, so as to provide for a definition; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Subpart 2A of Part 1 of Article 16 of Chapter 2 of Title 20 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to clubs and organizations, so as to provide for equal access to public schools for students engaging in political or philosophical expression; to authorize the organization of partisan and nonpartisan student groups and gatherings; to provide for school disclaimers of sponsorship; to prohibit discrimination based on the content of student speech within a limited open forum; to provide for the maintenance of order and discipline; to provide for a short title; to provide for definitions; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 11 of Title 47 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to the Judges of the Probate Courts Retirement Fund of Georgia, so as to allow the Board of Commissioners of the Judges of the Probate Courts Retirement Fund of Georgia to set monthly dues; to provide for limitations on such authority; to provide for factors in such determination; to increase the fee on marriage licenses; to increase the fee on civil filings; to increase the fee on certain fines and bond forfeitures; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Code Section 20-2-157 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to uniform reporting system for certain purposes, dual credit courses, and academic eligibility requirements to receive HOPE scholarship, so as to provide for the inclusion of advanced placement and international baccalaureate fine arts courses in the calculation of grade point averages for determining student eligibility for the HOPE scholarships and other scholarships; to provide for applicability; to provide for a definition; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 2 of Chapter 11 of Title 16 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to offenses against public order, so as to prohibit the possession, use, operation, manufacture, sale, offer for sale, distribution, or import of signal jammers; to specifically authorize the Attorney General to commence forfeiture proceedings; to provide for exemptions; to provide for definitions; to provide a short title; to provide an effective date; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
