A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 24 of Title 33 of the Official Code of Georgia, relating to insurance generally, so as to provide for disclosure of health care fees; to provide for a short title; to provide for legislative findings; to provide for definitions; to provide for disclosures by health care providers; to provide for certain notices; to provide for penalties; to provide for prohibitions for filing credit reports and violation penalties; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A RESOLUTION proposing an amendment to the Constitution of the State of Georgia so as to provide that the re-creation of a previously existing county which was merged into another county may be accomplished by law, subject to the approval of the voters therein and subject to certain conditions; to provide for the status and effect of the implementing law; to provide for submission of this amendment for ratification or rejection; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Article 1 of Chapter 2 of Title 45 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions regarding eligibility and qualifications for public office, so as to provide that, in addition to all other qualifications to serve on any municipal, county, or state commission, board, or authority, a person shall be a legal resident of this state and be registered to vote in this state in order to be eligible to serve on any municipal, county, or state commission, board, or authority in this state; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 80 of Title 36 and Chapter 1 of Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to general provisions applicable to counties, municipal corporations, and other governmental entities and general provisions relating to state government, respectively, so as to require that individuals appointed to authorities, boards, councils, and commissions be United States citizens; to provide for other residency requirements; to provide for a definition; to provide for enforcement; to provide an effective date and applicability; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A RESOLUTION proposing an amendment to the Constitution so as to revise comprehensively ad valorem property taxes; to provide for a short title; to provide for a local referendum in each county on question of limiting valuation increases of real property; to provide for a short title; to provide for procedures, conditions, and limitations; to provide for ratification of prior and authorize enactment of new base year assessed value homestead exemptions; to provide for applicability; to provide for the submission of this amendment for ratification or rejection; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 36 of Title 36 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to annexation of territory by municipal corporations, so as to provide that local Acts providing for the deannexation of property from a municipality and the annexation of the same property to another municipality which are effective on the same date do not create a prohibited unincorporated island; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
