A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 10 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to commerce and trade, so as to enact the "Georgia Consumer Privacy Protection Act"; to protect the privacy of consumer personal data in this state; to provide for definitions; to provide for applicability; to provide for exemptions; to provide for responsibilities of processors and controllers; to provide for notice and disclosure; to provide for security practices to protect consumer personal data; to allow a controller to offer different goods or services under certain conditions; to provide for limitations; to provide for statutory construction; to provide for preemption of local regulation; to provide for related matters; to provide an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 5 of Title 39 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to online internet safety, so as to require certain disclosures related to conversational AI services; to require the operators of conversational AI services to take steps to limit certain actions related to minors by such systems; to require operators to provide certain privacy tools to users; to require operators to adopt a protocol for a conversational AI service's response to suicidal ideation or self-harm; to provide for enforcement by the Attorney General; to provide for exceptions; to provide for definitions; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Chapter 46 of Title 33 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to certification of private review agents, so as to provide that certain decisions with regard to the provision of insurance coverage for healthcare services shall not be based solely on artificial intelligence systems, artificial intelligence, or other software tools; to provide for definitions; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.

A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Part 4 of Article 6 of Chapter 9 of Title 16 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to internet and e-mail fraud, so as to establish the criminal offense of digital identity fraud; to provide for criminal penalties; to require social media platform operators to evaluate claims of digital identify fraud; to provide for civil penalties; to provide for enforcement; to provide for a cause of action and damages; to provide for definitions; to provide for related matters; to provide for an effective date and applicability; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
