Medicaid and Florida Kidcare Programs Expansion; Provides that certain enrollees in Florida Kidcare program & Florida Healthy Kids program with family incomes at or below specified federal poverty level are not required to pay any premiums; prohibits certain charges from being imposed on such enrollees; revises list of people eligible for & length of time covered by Medicaid optional payments; requires AHCA to create Office of Medicaid Ombudsman to provide consumer protection & perform advocacy functions related to Medicaid.

Registrations and Transfers of Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning System Manufacturer Warranties; Requires manufacturer warranty for HVAC system to run with property; provides that warrantor continues to be obligated under terms of manufacturer warranty agreement for warranty transferred to new owner & may not charge transfer fee; provides that transfer of warranty to new owner does not extend warranty; provides warranty is deemed registered if contractor meets certain requirements.
Education and Training For Alzheimer's Disease and Related Forms of Dementia; Requires DEA to offer education about Alzheimer's disease & related forms of dementia to general public; requires employees of covered providers, health agency or nurse registry or companion or homemaker service provider, or nursing home, assisted living facility, adult family-care home, or adult day care center to complete specified training; authorizes completed training hours to count toward preservice orientation, other required training, or continuing education hours.
Commercial Service Airport Transparency and Accountability; Revises information required to be posted on website of governing body; requires commercial service airport to use specified competitive solicitation processes for purchases of commodities or contractual services; revises type of contract governing body must approve, award, or ratify as separate line item on agenda; requires governing body to provide opportunity for public comment on contracts; prohibits contracts from being approved, awarded, or ratified as part of consent agenda.
Menstrual Hygiene Products in Public Schools; Authorizing school districts to make menstrual hygiene products available, at no charge, in schools within the district and at certain locations within such schools; specifying requirements for the menstrual hygiene products and the dispensers of such products; requiring participating schools to notify students of the availability and locations of such products; encouraging school districts to partner with specified organizations to supply and maintain such menstrual hygiene products, etc.
Required African-American Instruction; Requires each school district to certify & provide certain evidence to DOE regarding certain instruction; authorizes DOE to seek input from & contract with certain educational organizations for specified purposes; requires each school district to submit implementation plan to Commissioner of Education & post plan on its website; provides requirements for plan; requires commissioner or DOE to provide certain notification; provides timeframe within which school district must submit revisions to its plan; authorizes SBE to take certain actions.
Assault Weapons and Large-capacity Magazines; Prohibits sale, transfer, or possession of assault weapon or large-capacity magazine; requires certificates of possession for assault weapons or large-capacity magazines lawfully possessed before specified date; limits sales or transfers of assault weapons or large-capacity magazines documented by such certificates; provides enhanced penalties for offenses committed with assault weapon or large-capacity magazine.
