Mental Health Workforce Pilot Program; Provides an appropriation for the Mental Health Workforce Pilot Program. APPROPRIATION: $1,250,000
Allow Persons Prescribed Medical Marijuana to Purchase Firearms; Urges Congress to revise federal firearms laws to allow persons who are prescribed medical marijuana to be permitted to purchase firearms.
Tax Exemption for Diapers and Incontinence Products; Exempts sale for human use of diapers, incontinence undergarments, incontinence pads, or incontinence liners from sales and use tax.
Upgrades to Education Facilities as Emergency Shelters; Exempts certain costs associated with certain upgrades to education facilities from being included in certain cost per student station calculations; specifies eligible upgrades that may be made; requires costs associated with certain upgrades to be consistent with prevailing market costs in area where education facility is located.
Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal System Inspections; Directs DEP to administer onsite sewage treatment & disposal system inspection program, adopt rules in consultation with OSTDS technical advisory committee, & submit report to Governor & Legislature; requires owners of systems to have periodic inspections & pay specified costs; provides program requirements & exemptions; requires advisory committee to determine criteria for advanced nutrient removal systems; authorizes local governments to create grant programs; prohibits partial inspection & omission of inspection portions.
Motor Vehicles; Revises period in which motor vehicle dealers & mobile home dealers must file applications for certificates of title.
Individual Education Plans; Requires IEPs for certain students to contain information on legal rights & responsibilities that transfer to students at age 18; requires information to include ways in which student may provide informed consent to allow his or her parent to continue to participate in educational decisions.
FloridaMakes; Provides an appropriation for the FloridaMakes. APPROPRIATION: $2,000,000
Victims of Reform School Abuse; Provides for certification of victims of Florida reform school abuse; requires application to DOS; provides application requirements; provides for examination, correction, reviewing, & processing of application within certain timeframes; requires DOS to certify applicant as victim of Florida reform school abuse if application meets requirements; requires DOS to submit list of certified victims to Legislature; provides for claims for crime victim compensation.
