Newborn Screenings; Requires hospitals & other state-licensed birthing facilities to test for congenital cytomegalovirus in newborns; revises timeframe for health care providers attending home births to make referrals; provides that primary health care providers are responsible for coordinating referrals under certain circumstances; requires providers to test newborns for congenital cytomegalovirus; revises timeframe for hospitals to complete newborn hearing screenings; requires test results be reported to DOH.

In-person Visitation; Requires providers to establish visitation policies & procedures within specified timeframe; provides requirements for policies & procedures; authorizes resident, client, or patient to designate essential caregiver; authorizes providers to suspend in-person visits under certain circumstances; requires providers to provide policies & procedures to AHCA; requires providers to make policies & procedures accessible from homepage of their websites.

Immigration Enforcement; Requires law enforcement agency operating county detention facility to enter into specified agreement with U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement to assist with immigration enforcement; requires such agency to report specified information quarterly to FDLE; prohibits governmental entity from executing, amending, or renewing contract with common carriers or contracted carriers under certain circumstances; requires specified governmental entity contracts with common carriers or contracted carriers to include specified provisions.

Construction Defect Claims; Revises time period to bring certain actions; removes chapter 558, F.S., relating to construction defects; provides certain design professionals are not individually liable for certain damages.

Transportation Facility Designations; Provides honorary designations of certain transportation facilities in specified counties; directs DOT to erect suitable markers.

Children with Developmental Delays; Revises definition of term "exceptional student" to include additional students with developmental delays.

Veteran Suicide Prevention Training; Requires DVA to establish Veteran Suicide Prevention Training Pilot Program; provides purpose; requires participants to receive training; requires DVA to contract to develop training curriculum; requires DVA to oversee process for administering training & certifying participants; requires report to Legislature; provides appropriation. APPROPRIATION: $500,000

Private Provider Inspections of Onsite Sewage Treatment and Disposal Systems; Authorizes private provider inspections of onsite sewage treatment & disposal systems; specifies requirements for private providers & onsite sewage treatment & disposal system owners & authorized contractors; authorizes DEP to audit performance of such inspections; requires DEP to submit report to Legislature.

Medicaid Managed Care; Requires AHCA to determine compliance with essential provider contracting requirements; requires AHCA to conduct single, statewide procurement & negotiate & select plans on regional basis; authorizes AHCA to select plans on statewide basis under certain circumstances; specifies procurement regions; revises provisions relating to dental plans & services; specifies that certain cancer hospitals are statewide essential providers; prohibits AHCA from automatically enrolling recipients in managed care plans under certain circumstances.

Occupational Therapy; Revises eligibility requirements for occupational therapist licensure examination; authorizes certain licensed occupational therapists to use specified title & associated initials; prohibits certain persons from using specified title & associated initials; provides criminal penalties.
