Benjamin Berell Ferencz Congressional Gold Medal Act This bill provides for the award of a Congressional Gold Medal to Benjamin Berell Ferencz in recognition of his service to the United States and the international community during the post-World War II Nuremberg trials and his lifelong advocacy for international criminal justice and the rule of law.

Transparency and Honesty in Energy Regulations Act of 2022 This bill prohibits specified federal entities (e.g., the Department of Energy) from considering the social cost of carbon, methane, nitrous oxide, or greenhouse gas as part of any cost-benefit analysis required under any law or specified Executive Orders. In addition, such social costs must not be considered by such entities (1) in rulemaking, (2) in the issuance of guidance, (3) in taking other agency action, (4) or as a justification for any rulemaking, guidance document, or agency action.

Peace Corps Reauthorization Act of 2022 This bill reauthorizes the Peace Corps program through FY2027 and addresses other issues related to the program. For example, the bill (1) increases the readjustment allowances for returning Peace Corps volunteers; (2) provides statutory authority to an executive order that provides returning volunteers with noncompetitive eligibility for federal employment purposes (i.e., eligibility to be noncompetitively appointed to a competitive federal position); and (3) requires the Peace Corps to take all reasonable measures to prevent and address reprisal or retaliation against a volunteer by any person with supervisory authority over the volunteer, such as a Peace Corps officer.

Transnational Criminal Organization Illicit Spotter Prevention and Elimination Act This bill provides for criminal penalties for certain conduct that interferes with U.S. border control measures. Homicide Victims' Families' Rights Act of 2022 This bill establishes a framework for immediate family members of a victim of murder under federal law to request a review of the victim's case file if the murder was committed more than three years prior, the murder was investigated by a federal law enforcement entity, all probative investigative leads have been exhausted, and no likely perpetrator has been identified.

Federal Cybersecurity Workforce Expansion Act This bill establishes cybersecurity employment and training programs through the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Specifically, DHS must establish an apprenticeship program that leads directly to employment in cybersecurity in federal agencies. Program participants must agree to a period of obligated service with a federal agency after completing the program. DHS must also coordinate with the VA to establish a pilot program to provide cybersecurity training for veterans, individuals approaching veteran status, and military spouses. The bill also extends through 2025 the requirement that federal agencies annually report critical cybersecurity workforce needs to the Office of Personnel Management.

Protecting IP Act of 2021 This bill requires the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) to enforce the actions related to intellectual property outlined in the Economic and Trade Agreement Between the Government of the United States of America and the Government of China (dated January 15, 2020). Such enforcement shall include civil, administrative, and criminal procedures and deterrent-level civil and criminal penalties as provided in the agreement. It shall also incorporate the USTR's authority to identify and take action against countries that deny (1) protection of intellectual property rights, or (2) market access to U.S. persons that rely upon intellectual property protection.

Democracy Technology Partnership Act This bill establishes the International Technology Partnership Office, led by the Special Ambassador for Technology, in the Department of State. The office shall advance U.S. technology policy through the creation of an International Technology Partnership with specified foreign countries. Specifically, the office must create a partnership of democratic countries to develop technology governance regimes, with a focus on key technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, 5G telecommunications, semiconductor chip manufacturing, biotechnology, and quantum computing. Partner countries must be democratic countries with advanced technology sectors that have a demonstrated record of trust or an expressed interest in international cooperation and coordination with the United States on defense and intelligence matters. The bill also establishes the International Technology Partnership Fund in the Department of the Treasury. The State Department may use amounts from this fund to support joint research projects from International Technology Partnership member countries and technology investments in third-country markets. The State Department must also submit reports (1) outlining a national strategy for technology and national security; and (2) assessing other countries' standards and governance regimes for privacy, human rights, consumer protection, and free expression.
