The Delaware Code currently has no provisions for dementia care. This bill defines dementia care and sets forth staffing requirements for all facilities that provide dementia care, including setting minimum staffing ratios. The bill requires that staff who provide dementia care must complete dementia-specific-care training and identifies what the training must include. This bill also requires that facilities have dedicated activity staff and that activity services be offered seven days a week at least 9 hours per day while residents are awake and able to participate. This bill prohibits the use of “dementia” or “memory care” in advertising unless a facility is in compliance with the Delaware Code and associated regulations. Finally, this bill provides that the Department may promulgate and adopts rules and regulations to implement the section and the subchapter.

This resolution proclaims May 2022 "Cystic Fibrosis Awareness Month" in the State of Delaware.

This Senate Concurrent Resolution recognizes May 2022 as "Older Americans Month" in the State of Delaware.

Section 20, Article I of the Delaware Constitution guarantees the individual citizen's right to keep and bear arms for legitimate and lawful purposes such as “defense of self, family, home and State, and for hunting and recreational use.” However, not everyone engaged in business in Delaware readily accepts and honors those rights or the individual Delawarean's ability under the law to lawfully exercise those rights. This Act creates a Gun Owners' Bill of Rights that does the following: (1) Safeguards the rights of an individual or business entity from unscrupulous and discriminatory economic practices such as discriminatory pricing of products, goods, and services because the individual or business entity is a gun owner, hunter, or sportsperson. (2) Prohibits the creation, sale, or distribution of lists and information about firearms and their owners not otherwise authorized or required by law. (3) Prohibits discriminatory economic practices because of an individual's membership in hunting, shooting, or outdoor sports organizations. The rights and remedies contained within this Act for the protection of gun owners, hunters, and sportspersons are similar, if not identical, to those afforded in other consumer settings.

This resolution honors USO Delaware for their important and inspiring work supporting military members and their families.

This concurrent resolution designates the month of May 2022 as "Lyme Disease Awareness Month" in the State of Delaware.

This Act allows licensed distributors to apply for a shippers license to provide direct shipments of wine, beer, and spirits to consumers.

This resolution recognizes May 2 to May 7, 2022 as "Auctioneers Week" in the State of Delaware.
