HB 43: Welfare - As introduced, prohibits recipients of EBT cards from using the card to purchase food that is high in calories, sugar, and fat, as recommended by the United States department of agriculture; prohibits people or businesses that accept EBT cards from accepting the card if used to purchase food that is high in calories, sugar, and fat; authorizes the department of human services to seek a waiver from the United States department of health and human services to establish a list of food that is prohibited for purchase by a recipient of an EBT card. - Amends TCA Title 71.

SB 1: Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services, Dept. of - As introduced, prohibits the Board for Professional Counselors, Marital and Family Therapists, and Clinical Pastoral Therapists from adopting any rule that incorporates by reference a national association's code of ethics, including, but not limited to, the American Counseling Association Code of Ethics; revises other provisions related to allowing counselors to not counsel when doing so conflicts with beliefs. - Amends TCA Title 4; Title 49 and Title 63.

SB 11: Juries and Jurors - As introduced, allows any person age 65 or older to request the jury coordinator of the county to remove the person's name from the jury list of the county if the request is made in writing and is accompanied by an affidavit providing the person's name, age, and other information the jury coordinator requires; requires the jury coordinator to remove the person's name from the jury list upon receiving the request. - Amends TCA Title 22.
