HB 60: Taxes, Privilege - As introduced, allows a person engaged in an occupation subject to the occupational privilege tax who is or is older than the age for full social security benefits and who earns no more than $16,000 per year from the taxable occupation to receive a 75 percent rebate on that person's occupational privilege tax. - Amends TCA Title 67, Chapter 4, Part 17.

HB 148: Child Abuse - As introduced, expands child abuse to include intentionally commanding, inducing, compelling, or otherwise causing, including by use of threats or violence, a minor to commit a criminal gang offense; states that prosecution shall not require conviction of the minor for the criminal gang offense committed; designates a first offense as a Class A misdemeanor and second or subsequent offense as a Class E felony. - Amends TCA Title 39 and Title 40.

HB 369: Taxes, Exemption and Credits - As introduced, exempts contractors and subcontractors from the sales or use tax on construction materials if the materials are purchased by a local education agency and are used in local education agency construction, in same manner contractors of churches and private, nonprofit colleges and universities are so exempt. - Amends TCA Section 67-6-209.
