S 38: A bill to specify the Federal share of the costs of certain duty of the National Guard in connection with the Coronavirus Disease 2019.

This bill requires the federal government to pay states for 100% of the cost of National Guard duty for a mission assignment validated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency pursuant to certain declarations related to the COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) public health emergency. The bill applies to declarations, with respect to COVID-19, of major disasters, emergencies, national emergencies, and public health emergencies.

SCONRES 3: A concurrent resolution authorizing the use of the rotunda of the Capitol for the lying in state of the remains of the last Medal of Honor recipient of World War II, in order to honor the Greatest Generation and the more than 16,000,000 men and women who served in the Armed Forces of the United States from 1941 to 1945.

This concurrent resolution authorizes the use of the rotunda of the Capitol for the lying in state, upon death, of the last surviving Medal of Honor recipient for acts performed during World War II, if the individual or their next of kin so elects.

S 25: Stop Greenlighting Driver Licenses for Illegal Immigrants Act of 2021

Stop Greenlighting Driver Licenses for Illegal Immigrants Act of 2021 This bill prohibits a state from receiving certain federal law enforcement grants if it takes certain immigration-related actions. Specifically, a state may not receive such grants if it (1) issues a driver license to an individual who does not have proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful presence in the United States, or (2) prohibits a local or state government entity or official from sharing immigration enforcement information with the Department of Homeland Security.

S 13: A bill to establish an advisory committee to make recommendations on improvements to the security, integrity, and administration of Federal elections.

This bill establishes a bipartisan advisory committee within the Election Assistance Commission (EAC) to study the integrity and administration of the November 2020 general election. The committee must also make recommendations to the EAC, state legislatures, and Congress on best practices for administering federal elections, including best practices to prevent improper voting and increase the security of vote-by-mail ballots.
