SB 3082: RELATING TO VIRTUAL CURRENCY.

Adopts the Uniform Regulation of Virtual Currency Businesses Act and codifies the Act. Amends the Money Transmitters Act to expressly apply to persons engaged in the transmission of virtual currency. Requires a licensee dealing with virtual currency to provide a warning to a consumer prior to entering into an agreement with the consumer. (SB3082 HD1)

SB 2930: RELATING TO UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS.

Requires the Department of Health to adopt rules on or before 10/13/2018 for underground storage tanks and tank systems that conform with, and are no less stringent than, the federal underground storage tank regulations effective as of 10/13/2015. Establishes the Red Hill Task Force to study the implementation of containment measures at Red Hill and report to the legislature. (SB2930 HD2)

SB 2969: RELATING TO SPECIAL MANAGEMENT AREAS.

Excludes the reconstruction or alteration of certain existing single-family residences from the definition of "development" for purposes of the special management areas law. Authorizes county planning authorities to further define new single-family residence construction Requires the county authorities to consider sea level rise when reviewing and approving all developments. HB 2592: RELATING TO WATER.

Establishes a working group within the department of the attorney general to assess the viability and constitutionality of using tax increment financing on the county level as a means of incentivizing water-related infrastructure projects and other projects to protect water resources in the State.
