HB 2061: RELATING TO PRIVATE DETECTIVES AND GUARDS.

Prohibits private detectives and guards from self-identifying as law enforcement officers, police, or police officers and from wearing or using any badge, uniform, equipment, vehicle, or other accoutrement capable of being associated with that of a law enforcement officer employed by a government law enforcement organization. HB 2433: RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE INDUSTRY LICENSING ACT.

Allows a licensed motor vehicle dealer to engage in business at multiple locations affiliated by common ownership within the same county. Authorizes revocation, suspension, or denial of a manufacturer's or distributor's license or fines for failure to compensate a dealer for a recalled vehicle. Clarifies the rights and obligations of dealers, manufacturers, and distributors with respect to improvements and upgrades on dealers' facilities, dealers' performance standards, and access to dealers' business information.
