HB 48: RELATING TO MEDICAL MARIJUANA.

Requires the department of health to adopt rules to prohibit: (1) the manufacture and sale of manufactured marijuana products that are shaped to appeal to children; and (2) the use of additives in manufactured marijuana products designed to make the product more addictive or more appealing to minors.

HB 18: RELATING TO PUBLIC ORDER.

Establishes an offense for remaining unlawfully in or upon state property after a request to leave is made by any law enforcement officer under certain conditions. Requires the departments with jurisdiction over state property to develop and implement a policy for coordinated enforcement.

SB 476: RELATING TO THE AUDITOR.

Authorizes the Auditor to receive and review confidential tax and other information. Allows the Auditor to report information necessary to explain and support its review and recommendations.

HB 497: RELATING TO EDUCATION.

Expands the National Board Certification Incentive Program to provide monetary incentives to school psychologists.  Authorizes continuing bonuses for school psychologists in certain designated schools that improve and no longer carry a certain designation.

HB 114: RELATING TO TAXATION.

Requires any assessment of penalty or interest on taxes to be accompanied by an explanation, including calculations, of how the amount of the penalty or interest was determined. Amends the date of filing of monthly, quarterly, and semiannual general excise tax returns from the 20th day of the respective applicable month to the last day of the month.

SB 233: RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION.

Creates the class C offense of endangering public transportation for tampering with a public highway or a facility of public transportation with intent to cause any damage, malfunction, nonfunction, theft, or unauthorized removal of material which would result in the creation of a substantial risk of death or serious bodily injury to another person. Defines facility of public transportation.

SB 431: RELATING TO TRANSIT-ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT.

Specifies that 0.5 per cent of the gross proceeds of a county's surcharge on state tax shall be used to reimburse the State for costs associated with handling the assessment, collection, and disposition of the county surcharge on state tax and 9.5 per cent of the gross proceeds shall be used for improvements to infrastructure, street, and trails and bike paths along the rail corridor.
