HB 470: RELATING TO RETIREMENT SAVINGS.

Requires the legislative reference bureau to conduct a feasibility study to determine the feasibility of establishing a Hawaii retirement savings program. Subject to a positive finding in the feasibility study, establishes the Hawaii retirement savings board to establish, implement, and maintain the Hawaii retirement savings program to cover private sector employees who are not provided a retirement savings plan by their employers. Appropriates funds to the legislative reference bureau to conduct a market analysis. Prohibits employers that offer retirement savings plans or programs to employees from canceling these plans or programs for an unspecified number of years after July 1, 2019.

SB 293: RELATING TO FAMILY LEAVE.

Extends the deadline for the Legislative Reference Bureau to submit the sunrise analysis required by Act 109, Session Laws of Hawaii 2018, from 9/1/2019, to 11/13/2019.

HB 181: RELATING TO ZONING.

Allows counties with populations less than 100,000 to enact a zoning ordinance to amortize or phase out nonconforming single-family transient vacation rental units over a reasonable period of time.

SB 321: RELATING TO THE WILDLIFE REVOLVING FUND.

Requires, rather than permits, the department of land and natural resources to use moneys received into the wildlife revolving to fund importation into, and the management, preservation, propagation, and protection of, game, introduced game species, and wildlife in the State; provided that the department first cooperates with the state game management advisory commission. Requires that the use of matching federal funds is appropriate to preserve, protect, and promote public hunting.

HB 380: RELATING TO HEALTH.

Provides that certain pregnant women receiving substance abuse treatment are eligible for substance abuse treatment and mental health services for an additional ten months following childbirth.

SB 332: RELATING TO THE GENERAL EXCISE TAX.

Exempts the sales of mobility enhancing equipment sold by prescription, prosthetic devices, prescription drugs sold pursuant to a prescription, diabetic supplies, medical oxygen, and human blood and its derivatives from the general excise tax for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2018. Amends the definitions of "prosthetic device" and "prescription drugs".

HB 199: RELATING TO POST-EMPLOYMENT.

Allows former employees of charter schools to represent the nonprofit organization that supports the charter school that employed the former employee through business or financial transactions.
