SB 116: RELATING TO VOTING.

Requires that any person who is eligible to vote but is not already registered to vote and applies for a new or renewed motor vehicle driver's license, provisional license, or instruction permit, or a new, renewed, or duplicate civil identification card be automatically registered to vote unless the applicant affirmatively declines to be registered to vote. Authorizes access to and electronic transmission of databases maintained or operated by the counties or the department of transportation containing driver's license or civil identification card information to election officials and the statewide voter registration system.

SB 169: RELATING TO HIGHWAY SAFETY.

Establishes the photo red light imaging detector systems program. Authorizes counties to administer the program. Requires fines collected for violations on a county highway to be transmitted to the appropriate county after expenses are deducted.

SB 204: RELATING TO REAL ESTATE.

Exempts persons who are employees of real estate management divisions within companies or corporations incorporated, organized, or formed outside the State from the State's real estate license requirement provided that the employees may negotiate only up to five commercial leases and are duly licensed in their state of domicile.

SB 159: RELATING TO TOBACCO PRODUCTS.

Repeals the State's preemptory powers over the regulation of tobacco products. Clarifies the county powers to adopt and enforce ordinances and rules.

HB 193: RELATING TO ZONING.

Allows counties with populations less than 100,000 to enact a zoning ordinance to amortize or phase out nonconforming single-family transient vacation rental units over a reasonable period of time.

HB 215: RELATING TO FOWL.

Appropriates funds to the Department of Health (DOH) to purchase and rent traps for feral chickens and roosters to residents for a nominal fee. Authorizes DOH to contract with eligible entities to administer the program. Imposes a 1:1 match requirement on counties whose residents participate in the program.

HB 113: RELATING TO MARKETPLACE FACILITATORS.

Establishes marketplace facilitators as the sellers of tangible personal property. Requires other persons who provide a forum for listing of tangible personal property and the taking or processing of orders to report information about purchasers to the Department of Taxation.

SB 342: RELATING TO CRIMINAL DEFENSE.

Prohibits defendants from claiming that discovery, knowledge, or disclosure of a victim's gender, gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation resulted in extreme mental or emotional disturbance sufficient to reduce a charge of murder to a charge of manslaughter unless the other circumstances of a defendant's explanation are already sufficient to reasonably find extreme mental or emotional disturbance.
