SB 201: RELATING TO RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY.

Excepts from the definition of historic property any private residence that has not been entered, or nominated by the owner of the residence for entry, onto the Hawaii register of historic places. Clarifies that nothing in section 6E-10, Hawaii Revised Statutes, shall be construed to require review by the department of land and natural resources for a project on a private residence fifty or more years old that has not been entered, or nominated by the owner of the residence for entry, onto the Hawaii register of historic places.

SB 155: RELATING TO FIRE PROTECTION.

Establishes a tax credit of 30% of the actual cost, including installation, water meter, and permitting fees, of an automatic fire sprinkler system in any one- and two-family dwelling in a structure used only for residential purposes. Sunsets 6/30/2029.

SB 323: RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF LAND AND NATURAL RESOURCES.

Requires the department of land and natural resources to consider the advice and recommendations of the game management advisory commission in carrying out its duties and powers; adopting, amending, or repealing rules; and in its managements of game areas, wildlife sanctuaries, and public hunting areas.

HB 429: RELATING TO TAXATION.

Provides that, for counties with a population equal to or less than 500,000 that adopt a county surcharge on state tax ordinance, no less than 50% of the revenues shall be used for public transportation systems and compliance with the ADA.

HB 130: RELATING TO CONSUMER PROTECTION.

Prohibits the sale of tickets to an exhibition, game, concert, and other events at prices greater than the sum of the price printed on the ticket, any lawful taxes collected, and, if permitted pursuant to a written contract between the seller of the ticket and the primary ticket seller, any reasonable charge for services. Specifies that no ticket sales for events in Hawaii shall commence before 8:00 a.m. Hawaiian standard time or before the primary ticket seller commences ticket sales, whichever is later. Specifies requirements for tickets sold or offered for sale by or through an internet website. Establishes requirements for disclosures relating to fees and taxes and number of available tickets. Establishes remedies. Makes the circumvention of online ticket purchases through the use of illicit computer software a misdemeanor.

HB 153: RELATING TO THE PRACTICE OF PHARMACY.

Establishes the public health and pharmacy formulary advisory committee to advise the Board of Pharmacy in developing a formulary of drugs and devices that a pharmacist may prescribe and dispense. Authorizes the Board of Pharmacy to allow pharmacists to prescribe vaccines as well as drugs and devices from the formulary developed with the assistance of the advisory committee.
