A BILL to be entitled an Act to amend Title 32, Code Section 48-8-242, and Article 1 of Chapter 39 of Title 50 of the Official Code of Georgia Annotated, relating to highways, bridges, and ferries, definitions relative to special district transportation sales and use tax (TSPLOST), and creation and organization of the Atlanta-region Transit Link "ATL" Authority, respectively, so as to abolish the position of director of planning; to transfer duties and responsibilities relative to transportation planning to the commissioner of transportation; to provide for conforming changes; to provide for related matters; to repeal conflicting laws; and for other purposes.
