This is a symbolic resolution (not a law) designating August as National Immunization Awareness Month. It does not create new requirements or affect any specific groups. The resolution recognizes vaccination as a critical public health tool, citing statistics on disease prevention and cost savings, but only formally acknowledges August for awareness purposes.
