Removed a requirement that students enrolled in online physical or health education programs must take a specific computer-based driver education course as an alternative to in-person classroom training.

Changed the definition of classroom training to explicitly allow it to be administered either in-person or online, rather than being strictly in-person with computer-based courses as an alternative.

Clarified that the mandatory 90-minute parent/student driver education component may be administered online outside of Planning District 8, whereas it must remain in-person within Planning District 8.

Deleted all amendments to § 46.2-1702, which previously addressed the Commissioner of Highways' authority to approve driver education courses and the certification of instructors at driver training schools.
