Summary
Landlord and Tenant Fairness Act established.Establishes the Landlord and Tenant Fairness Act that requires anylandlord who owns more than nine rental dwelling units or more thana 10 percent interest in more than nine rental dwelling units, whetherindividually or through a business entity, in the Commonwealth, tomeet certain requirements with respect to (i) the advertisement ofany rental dwelling unit for occupancy; (ii) the charging of applicationfees and processing of an applicant's information during an applicationcheck; and (iii) the terms of the rental agreement, changes in therental amount, and termination of the rental agreement.
