Summary
Breach of a contract; attorney fees; factors.Provides that, for any contract entered into on or after July 1,2024, if such contract contains a provision allowing the award ofattorney fees to a party when the other party to such contract breachessuch contract, the court may also allow reasonable attorney feesto be awarded to the party that prevails in any action, whether asplaintiff or defendant, with respect to such contract. The bill requiresthe court to take into account certain factors in determining such reasonable attorney fees.
