Honoring the Victims of Communist China’s Tyranny Act

This bill directs the Secretary of State to create a memorial within International Park in Washington, D.C., to honor victims of persecution and genocide in China, particularly under the current leadership. The memorial must include educational elements detailing specific human rights abuses against groups such as Uyghurs and Tibetans, as well as the imprisonment of political prisoners. The project is limited to $500,000 in federal funds, though it may accept additional private donations, and the Secretary is required to consult with survivors and human rights organizations during its development.
