Public Housing Rent Reduction for First Responders Act

This bill amends the 1937 Housing Act to reduce rent for public housing families where at least one member is a full-time police officer, firefighter, or emergency medical technician (EMT) employed by government. It requires these families to pay the higher of 5% of their gross monthly income or 15% of their adjusted income - lower than standard public housing rent calculations. Eligibility is limited to those working full-time for federal, state, local, or tribal government agencies (including public housing police forces).
