Countering China’s Control of the Caucasus Act

It also mandates a 5-year U.S. strategy for Georgia relations, assessing funding priorities, Georgia’s commitment to Western trade ties, and whether the U.S. should maintain Georgia as a top aid recipient. The reports will inform U.S. policy decisions about support for Georgia, a key partner in the Caucasus region. Georgia is the direct focus as the recipient of U.S. aid and subject of the intelligence review.
