Bike the Border Act

The Bike the Border Act requires U.S. Customs and Border Protection to facilitate bicycle and pedestrian crossings at the Gordie Howe International Bridge (connecting Detroit, Michigan, and Windsor, Ontario) within one year of enactment. It mandates CBP to expedite these non-motorized border crossings and directs the GAO to report on CBP’s progress, including whether facilitation has occurred and recommendations for improvement.
