Medal of Honor Access and Liaison Act

The Medal of Honor Access and Liaison Act grants individuals on the official Medal of Honor Roll a common access card that allows them unaccompanied entry to any military installation and the Pentagon. The bill also creates a new position within the Department of Defense called the Medal of Honor Liaison, appointed by the Secretary of Defense. This liaison serves as the primary point of contact for recipients and their families, coordinates support across federal agencies, standardizes protocols for honoring recipients, and handles the replacement of military decorations.
