Ocmulgee Mounds National Park and Preserve Establishment Act

This bill redesignates the existing Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park as Ocmulgee Mounds National Park and establishes Ocmulgee Mounds National Preserve as a unit of the National Park System. It authorizes the Secretary of the Interior to acquire land for these areas only through voluntary means (purchase, donation, or exchange), prohibiting eminent domain, and requires the creation of an advisory council with significant Muscogee (Creek) Nation representation. The bill mandates co-management with the Muscogee (Creek) Nation, including hiring preferences for tribal members and allowing traditional tribal activities like ceremonies, hunting, and fishing. It also takes approximately 126 acres of land owned by the Tribe into federal trust for the Tribe and addresses coordination with the Bond Swamp National Wildlife Refuge.
