A bill to provide for an enhanced domestic content requirement for Navy shipbuilding programs.

This bill requires Navy shipbuilding contracts to use increasingly more U.S.-made components over time. Starting in 2026, at least 65% of component costs must be U.S.-sourced, rising to 75% by 2032, and reaching 100% after 2032. It directly affects shipbuilders contracting with the Navy and excludes iron/steel products from the requirement. Waivers are allowed if costs would rise over 25% or critical domestic parts are unavailable, but require approval from the Made in America Office.
