Recognizing the Role of Direct Support Professionals Act

This bill creates a new job category for direct support professionals (DSPs) in the federal Standard Occupational Classification system. The bill requires the Office of Management and Budget to add a specific code (31-1123) under healthcare support occupations within 30 days of enactment.
