Fight Illicit Pill Presses Act of 2024

This bill requires manufacturers and distributors of pill-making machines (tableting and encapsulating machines) to permanently affix a serial number to each device. It directly affects companies that produce or sell these machines, mandating the serial number be on a nonremovable part. The law also prohibits removing, altering, or hiding these serial numbers, and bans transporting or possessing such machines with tampered numbers.
