Preventing Vape Use Act

This bill reclassifies electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS), like e-cigarettes and vape pens, as tobacco products under federal law. It requires all ENDS manufacturers, retailers, and distributors to immediately stop selling these products and recall them from the market within 60 days of enactment. The bill also mandates that all ENDS undergo full FDA premarket review (instead of being deemed "substantially equivalent" to older tobacco products) starting 60 days after enactment. This applies to all ENDS devices and components, with no exemptions allowed, effectively halting sales of unapproved products until FDA approval is granted.
