IMPACT Act

The IMPACT Act establishes a federal research program to develop low-emissions cement, concrete, and asphalt production technologies. It directs the Department of Energy to create a 5-year strategic plan, fund demonstration projects at manufacturing sites, and provide technical assistance to help industries adopt cleaner methods.
