HR 5812 United States House · 118th Congress

No Glory for Hate Act

This bill restricts federal funding for any commemoration of former presidents who were twice impeached by the House of Representatives or convicted of crimes related to their presidential duties. It prohibits creating monuments, naming federal properties (like parks or buildings), or using federal funds for state/county properties bearing such presidents' names. The bill also revokes retirement benefits under the Former Presidents Act (except Secret Service protection) and blocks burial at Arlington National Cemetery for these individuals. These restrictions apply only to presidents meeting the specific legal criteria outlined in the bill.
