Impacts and Outcomes for Health Career Training Act

HR 4753 requires the Department of Health and Human Services to study how health career training grants (under the Health Profession Opportunity Grants program) affect participants' employment and earnings over time. It mandates that at least 4% of annual grant funding be used for this evaluation, including tracking short-, medium-, and long-term outcomes. The law applies directly to individuals participating in these health career training programs and takes effect October 1, 2023.
