State and Local Infrastructure Flexibility Act

Summary
State and Local Infrastructure Flexibility Act This bill makes certain state transportation and infrastructure projects eligible for COVID-19 (i.e., coronavirus disease 2019) recovery funds. Specifically, the bill authorizes the use of such funds for projects for specified purposes, including to improve, repair, and develop roads, railways, tunnels, bridges, and electrical grids; fund revitalization initiatives to support economic and workforce development; improve the safety, efficiency, and reliability of the movement of freight and people; enhance the resiliency of critical highway infrastructure and help protect the environment; and fund the construction or improvement of buildings, land, and other facilities that are required to provide broadband service.
