Mankato Regional Airport air traffic control town appropriation and bond issuance authorization

This bill authorizes the state to appropriate $1,265,000 from bond proceeds to fund the design, construction, and equipment of an air traffic control tower at the Mankato Regional Airport. The legislation directs the commissioner of transportation to provide this grant to the city of Mankato for the project. To finance the appropriation, the commissioner of management and budget is authorized to sell and issue state bonds up to $1,265,000 in accordance with existing state statutes.
