Seasonal licenses for resorts authorization

This bill allows county boards in Minnesota's unorganized or unincorporated areas to issue seasonal on-sale liquor licenses to restaurants, clubs, and resorts. The seasonal licenses can be valid for up to nine months and permit alcohol sales only to patrons at the establishment, with no more than one such license allowed per location within a 12-month period. Additionally, the bill authorizes annual on-sale malt liquor licenses for resorts in these areas, allowing sales to guests and their visitors on all days of the week. The legislation requires commissioner approval for both seasonal and annual licenses and amends existing Minnesota liquor laws to include these new provisions.
