Child care center staff training requirements modification

This bill modifies Minnesota's child care center staff CPR training requirements. It requires directors, staff, substitutes, and unsupervised volunteers to complete pediatric CPR training covering infant/child techniques (including back blows for infants and abdominal thrusts for children) with hands-on practice and in-person assessment by approved instructors (like American Heart Association or Red Cross). Training must be renewed at least every two years and completed within 90 days of employment or before unsupervised child contact. The bill affects all staff at licensed child care centers in Minnesota.
