Bridges to Healthcare appropriation

This bill appropriates $750,000 for fiscal year 2026 and $750,000 for fiscal year 2027 from the workforce development fund to provide grants to Bridges to Healthcare. The grant covers program expenses like hiring instructors, space rental, and participant support - including childcare, transportation, and housing assistance - to help participants complete training and address healthcare worker shortages. Up to 5% of the grant may cover administrative costs for the organization.
