Certain environmental review reporting requirements modifications

This bill repeals a specific reporting requirement for state environmental agencies. It eliminates Minnesota Statutes section 116D.04, subdivision 5b, which previously mandated that the Environmental Quality Board, Pollution Control Agency, Department of Natural Resources, and Department of Transportation submit triennial reports to the governor and relevant legislative committees. These reports analyzed whether certain environmental review categories should be modified, eliminated, or kept based on their purpose and alignment with existing permits. The repeal removes this obligation, meaning these agencies no longer need to prepare and submit these periodic reports.
