This bill allocates $2.9 million from the state's general fund to the Minnesota Department of Transportation for planning and preparation work on local road and infrastructure improvements near Rogers. The funding will support environmental analysis, design work for a new river crossing, completion of required environmental impact statements, and assessments of how road changes affect local water and stormwater systems. The money is designated for fiscal year 2027 and does not require any matching contributions from nonstate sources. The project area is defined by the boundaries of highways 101, 10, 169, 610, and Interstate 94. The bill takes effect the day after it is enacted into law.
