This bill authorizes the issuance of up to $6 million in state bonds to fund construction of the Root River State Trail between Preston and Carimona. The funds will be allocated to the commissioner of natural resources for trail development work. The commissioner of management and budget is responsible for selling and issuing the bonds according to existing state laws. The bill takes effect the day after it is enacted.
