To qualify, applicants must own eligible vehicles, pay standard registration fees plus a $40 annual contribution to a dedicated Panhellenic foundations account, and meet other standard registration requirements. The bill requires the state to adopt organization-specific plate designs incorporating their emblem and identification, with contributions deposited into a special fund. Funds in this account will first cover administration costs before being distributed to affiliated charitable foundations based on the proportion of plates issued for each organization, supporting their charitable missions. The bill takes effect January 1, 2027.
