The Bridge for Youth grant funding provided, and money appropriated.

HF 1526 appropriates funds from Minnesota's general budget to The Bridge for Youth for a new facility in Hennepin County. The grant will cover land acquisition, planning, construction, and equipment for a multiuse facility specifically designed to serve unaccompanied homeless youth and young families experiencing homelessness. The facility will include 40 units of transitional/affordable housing, emergency shelter space, youth program areas, recreational space, and administrative offices. This is a one-time appropriation available until project completion, as specified in Minnesota Statutes section 16A.642.
