Relative to the Standing Rules of the Senate for the 2025–26 Regular Session.
What changed between versions
Removed 'Bills relating to the management of public safety emergencies and disaster response' from the Governmental Organization committee's jurisdiction. This subject matter is already assigned to the Emergency Management committee, so the removal eliminates a redundant referral path.
Corrected a drafting error in the Judiciary committee description where the word 'protection' was accidentally duplicated ('privacy and consumer protection. protection (other than...)'). Now reads cleanly as 'privacy and consumer protection (other than data privacy issues and consumer protection issues related to information technology).'
Corrected a typo in the Natural Resources and Water committee description from 'regulation of oil, oil and oil pipelines' to 'regulation of oil and oil pipelines.'
Added formal enrollment language: adoption date (January 29, 2026), attestation by the Secretary of the Senate, and updated header formatting. Removed internal line numbers used during drafting.
