A filing date was added: '[Filed with Secretary of State August 24, 2026.]'

The Senate and Assembly adoption signature blocks were replaced with a 'STATE OF CALIFORNIA AUTHENTICATED ELECTRONIC LEGAL MATERIAL' header, consistent with the standard chaptered document format.

The Hawaii reference (SR 54 and HR 42 recognizing open water lifeguards as first responders) was moved from its original position after the Ben Carlson memorial paragraph to a new position near the end of the WHEREAS clauses, just before the resolution language.

The 'now, therefore, be it' transitional language was restructured with an additional instance inserted before the new WHEREAS clause about agency recognition, creating a two-part transition into the Resolved sections.
